FAQ – Why is my registration blocked?

“Why is my registration blocked?”   This is a common question that is coming up regularly from DAP students.

As a DAP student, you’ll see this status on the Student Service Centre (SSC) when you select the Registration menu after logging in.  This is generally because no registration activity for DAP course occurs on the SSC; all registration (registration in new courses, transfers and withdrawals) are all done through myUBCDAP.

Once your registration/transfer/withdrawal is received and processed by the DAP office (normally within 1 business day of receipt), you will see your timetable updated on SSC, which you can view by selecting the Course Schedule link on the main page, then Registration (from the top menu) / Timetable, then select Display “Registered”.   This will then show you all the courses that you are enrolled in.
