Networking Strikes Again!

The great thing about a network is it can come alive and drop things into your lap at any time!Recently, as I was networking with some accountants not far away from where I live and ran into another successful DAP Alumni who was interested in how the program was going. I was pleased to inform him that it has continued to improve as the marketplace changes and offers a solid academic foundation on the way to achieving the CPA designation. In addition, I mentioned the students have commented that their DAP experience had also provided an incredible relationship building opportunity for those take advantage of expanding their networks with their classmates and accounting professionals.

He then asked me if I would be willing to forward some names and resumes from time to time when they had a need to add to their growing staff. He continued to say how that they are a small firm, with a family atmosphere, competitive salary and benefit package…and they get to go home at a reasonable hour consistently. He also agreed that new hires would need support as they moved through their impending PEP process and CFE preparation. I replied that I would be happy to forward some candidates and BOOM “Networking Strikes Again!”
